D.C. Emergency Shelter Project

In 2002, I led the painting of two murals at an emergency shelter in Washington, D.C. in honor of my friend, photographer Lloyd Wolf’s 50th birthday. Several of the children at the shelter enthusiastically jumped in to help with the painting.

It is my intention to continue this kind of community work as it is some of the most rewarding and fun work I have done.  Because of confidentiality and safety concerns, I have blurred the faces of the children in these pictures.
